Description: Too large for a head or on the limits of saying and on the impossibility of seeingResumen:Partiendo del proyecto expositivo que lleva por título “Que no cabe en la cabeza” su autor plantea en este texto una reflexión sobre las condiciones que dichas obras imponen en el ver y, por lo tanto, en la recepción de las intenciones poéticas por parte del espectador. Se trata así de plantear un posible acercamiento a la pintura contemporánea desde unas claves de lectura íntimamente relacionadas con el saber del proceso, con la materia, con el tiempo y con la demora. Palabras clave: Pintura contemporánea, contemplación, tiempo, ritmo, demora.Abstract:Arising out of the exhibition Too large for a head, this article analyses the conditions which works of art impose on the act of seeing and, therefore, on the reception of the artist’s poetic views by the observer. It is thus possible to draw up a certain approach to contemporary painting which stems from a set of guidelines closely connected with the understanding of processes, with materials, with time, with the act of lingering.Keywords: Contemporary painting, contemplation, time, rhythm, lingering.
