A multi-criteria decicion analysis (MCDA)tool is designed, developed and used to support the assessment of four policy pathway options for the harmonisation of the Renewable Energy Sources fo Electricity generation (RES-E) support schemes in the European Union (EU) for a period after the year 2020. The MCDA tool offers the possibility for decision makes of theEuropean Commission to repeatedly carry out the assessment and to visualize the outputs in a user-friendly manner.
