Description

Cancer is a major public health problem. The world health organization estimates that worldwide cancer rates are set to double by the year 2020. Currently, 10 million new cases of cancer are diagnosed each year worldwide, but this number is expected to rise to 20 million in 15 years time. The WHO report stated that cancer is emerging as a major problem globally; both in more-developed and in less-developed countries.
