Caracterización socioeconómica y ambiental de los sistemas de producción en la subcuenca del río Chimbo - provincia Bolívar. Ecuador El estudio se basó en las experiencias en el manejo de recursos naturales con el enfoque de manejo integrado de cuencas hidrográficas en agricultura de pequeña escala, desarrolladas por el Instituto Nacional Autónomo de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (INIAP) y el Centro Internacional de la Papa (CIP) en la zona. Los objetivos de la investigación fueron: i) recopilar, analizar y sistematizar la información relevante que contribuya a la caracterización, ii) identificar los principales factores limitantes y potencialidades de los sistemas de producción en las microcuencas de los ríos Alumbre e llangama y ii) plantear opciones socio-económicas y ambientales que mejoren los sistemas de producción.
Socioeconomic and environmental characterization of the production systems in the Chimbo river watershed - county Bolivar. Ecuador The study was based on the experiences in the management of natural resources with the focus of watershed integrated management in agriculture of small scale, developed by the National Autonomy Institute of Agricultural and Livestock Research (INIAP) and the International Potato Center (IPC) in the study area. The research objectives were: i) to gather, to analyze and to systematize the information than contributes to the characterization, ii) to identify the main restrictive factors and potentialities of the production systems in the Del Alumbre and llangama watersheds, iii) to find socio-economic and environmental options that improve the production systems.
