La característica indiscutible de las empresas de hoy es su facilidad de transformación, atributo impulsado por factores dinámicos como: las economías de escala, globalización, competitividad, exigencias del mercado y entorno; desafíos que sin lugar a duda agregan valor a sus procesos, sin embargo lo que hace más significativo el patrimonio empresarial es de carácter intangible; y es el conocimiento. Es así como estos aportes son significativos en la medida que contribuyen en el posicionamiento de las empresas, en la mejora de sus procesos y en la información que éstos suministran y que facilitan la toma de decisiones en las organizaciones. Al respecto, el artículo propone la aplicación de técnicas que permite medir la importancia, participación y contribución de los activos intangibles en el desarrollo y sostenibilidad de las Instituciones de Educación Superior y la región.
The indisputable characteristic of today's companies is their ease of transformation, an attribute driven by dynamic factors such as: economies of scale, globalization, competitiveness, market demands and environment; Challenges that undoubtedly add value to their processes, however what makes business heritage more significant is intangible; And it is knowledge. Thus, these contributions are significant insofar as they contribute to the positioning of companies, in the improvement of their processes and in the information they provide, which facilitate decision-making in organizations. In this regard, the article proposes the application of techniques to measure the importance, participation and contribution of intangible assets in the development and sustainability of Higher Education Institutions and the region.
