En el trabajo investigativo se analizan los alcances (aciertos y desaciertos) que ha tenido el cambio de la matriz productiva en los actores de la economía popular y solidaria de productos frescos y procesados registrados entre los años 2010 y 2016 en la provincia de Tungurahua. Se conceptualiza el término matriz productiva en diferentes ámbitos, incluido el Ecuador y Economía Popular y Solidaria. Asimismo, el objetivo central del estudio es evaluar las oportunidades de mercado que pueden tener las empresas ecuatorianas ante la crisis de la economía que tiene el país. De la misma manera, se presentan algunos datos estadísticos que constituyen la plataforma de análisis para proponer el rumbo de la economía de las empresas que comercializan productos frescos y procesados provenientes de los actores de la economía popular y solidaria.
In the current research work, scopes (successes and miscues) changes that the productive matrix has had in the participants of the solidary and popular economy of fresh and processed fresh products registered between 2016 and 2016 in Tungurahua Province are being analyzed. The term of productive matrix is conceptualized at different areas, including Ecuador and the Popular and Solidary Economy. Likewise, the main objective of this research is to evaluate market opportunities that Ecuadorian companies could have by facing the economy crisis that the country has. In a very equal way, some statistic data which constitutes the analysis of the analysis platform in order to propose the course of companies that are immerse in the marketing of fresh and processed products from the actors of popular and solidary economy is provided
