La presente investigación se centra en conocer las motivaciones que llevan a familias ecuatorianas con hijos/as a desescolarizar, en base a un levantamiento de información sobre datos de encuestas aplicadas, contrastadas en base a las diferentes teorías de desescolarización. Los datos son contextualizados según las motivaciones inherentes en la escolaridad, como desarrollo de competencias, socialización, motivación y autonomía, los cuales, excepto socialización, demuestran una percepción muy baja con respecto a la opción educación en desescolarización. Las familias demuestran tener facilidad de acceder a esta opción educativa dado su estrato social medio alto, así como las competencias educativas y manejo de criterios educativos básicos. La perspectiva se define en cómo estas familias y las propuestas educativas tienen una estructura legal socializada adecuada para en su momento poder optar por cualquiera de las opciones educativas.
The present investigation focuses on knowing the motivations that lead Ecuadorian families with children to deschool, based on a survey of quantitative data contrasted based on the different theories of deschooling. The data is contextualized according to the motivations inherent in schooling, such as competence development, socialization, motivation and autonomy, which, except for socialization, demonstrate a very low perception with respect to the option of education in deschooling. The families demonstrate that they have access to this educational option given their high social status, as well as the educational competences and management of basic educational criteria. The perspective is defined in how these families and the educational proposals have a socialized legal structure adequate to be able to choose any of the educational options.
