La velocidad con la que se maneja el flujo de información, ha hecho que el cliente se vuelva más exigente. Por esta razón, el proceso de venta y la satisfacción son factores muy importantes a la hora de adquirir un producto en una empresa. En este caso, la Logística y Gestión de stocks juegan un papel imprescindible en una organización porque la correcta distribución de suministros escolares depende en gran manera de la forma en que reciben los productos y la forma de controlar los inventarios. La presente investigación está enfocada en determinar por qué razón existe un inadecuado control de stocks y cómo influye la distribución de los suministros escolares. De acuerdo al instrumento de investigación, se pudo entrevistar y encuestar a los gerentes propietarios donde se pudo comprobar que ninguna de las librerías de la asociación tiene un sistema de distribución eficiente, por lo que se hace imposible atender a los clientes de manera eficiente. De igual manera, no tienen control de stocks, lo que impide saber el tamaño óptimo de inventarios en las temporadas de mayor demanda de artículos escolares. Por las razones detalladas, es necesario analizar modelos y herramientas que permitan dar a conocer el nivel óptimo de stocks, los costos que conlleva mantenerlos, los tiempos y el nivel de escasez en temporadas, y el modelo denominado Q. Asimismo, se vio la necesidad de aplicar un sistema de coordinación de actividades en las perchas y en bodega.
The speed with which the flow of information is handled, has made the customer more demanding. For this reason, the sales process and satisfaction are very important factors when acquiring a product in a company. In this case, Logistics and Stock Management play an essential role in an organization because the correct distribution of school supplies depends greatly on how they receive the products and how to control inventories. The present research is focused on determining why there is inadequate inventory control and how the distribution of school supplies influences. According to the research instrument, it was possible to interview and survey the proprietary managers where it was verified that none of the bookstores of the association has an efficient distribution system, making it impossible to serve customers efficiently. Similarly, they do not have stock control, which prevents them from knowing the optimal size of inventories in the seasons of greatest demand for school items. For the detailed reasons, it is necessary to analyze models and tools that allow to know the optimal level of stocks, the costs that entails maintaining them, the times and the level of scarcity in seasons, and the model denominated Q. to implement a coordination system of activities in the hangers and in the hold.
