El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo su origen en la necesidad de fomentar el hábito de la lectura sean de textos literarios o no literarios en los estudiantes del Sexto año de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa Picaihua del cantón Ambato Provincia del Tungurahua, detectando un deficiente interés por los estudiantes del Plantel. Esta es la realidad que se vive a diario no solo en esta, si no en la mayoría de instituciones educativas del país, que sin duda es el deber del docente fomentar y repotenciar esta competencia; ya que la lectura es algo imprescindible en la vida misma, más aún en la vida estudiantil. En las encuestas aplicadas a los principales involucrados se detecta un elevado porcentaje de estudiantes que usan la lectura solo por cumplimiento de sus obligaciones académicas, no lo hacen por placer. El interés es que disfruten, se apropien de cada texto, cada libro que tienen en sus manos deben leerlo con satisfacción. Al igual que los docentes deben propiciar espacios y actividades que fomenten el hábito lector. Lo anteriormente dicho se verá robustecido con la aplicación del tutorial multimedia con diferentes textos que permita que los estudiantes disfruten de una manera innovadora, amena, interesante, que el leer no está sólo en los textos tradicionales sino también a través de herramientas tecnológicas que hoy se encuentra revolucionando en el que hacer educativo. Por lo cual es fundamental disponer de este tipo de innovaciones para despertar el interés del educando hacia nuevas formas de disfrutar de la lectura.
This research originated in the need to promote the habit of reading is literary or non-literary texts, students in the sixth year of the General Education Basic Educational Unit Picaihua Canton Ambato Tungurahua Province, detecting poor interest by students Campus. It is the reality we live every day not only in this , if not in most educational institutions , which undoubtedly is the duty of teachers to promote and repowering that competence; because reading is something essential in life itself , even more in student life . In surveys of the principals involved a high percentage of students using read-only by meeting their academic obligations, do not pleasure is detected. The interest is to enjoy, take ownership of each text, each book they have in their hands should read it with satisfaction. As teachersmust provide spaces and activities that promote the reading habit.The foregoing will be strengthened with the application of multimedia tutorial with different texts that allow students to enjoy an innovative , entertaining , interesting way , that reading is not only in the traditional texts but also through technological tools today is revolutionizing the education to do . Therefore it is essential to have such innovations to arouse the interest of the learner to new ways to enjoy reading.
