- Description
The translation was performed through the method of back-translation and adaptation of Cyberbullying Questionnaire (CBQ) and its complement (CBQ-V), and was applied to a sample of 1002 adolescents from Tungurahua, in public and private educational institutions, 51.7% were women and 47.2% were men, and aged between 14 and 19 years, with an average of M = 15.47 and standard deviation of Ds = 1.17. The data show that 17% of the sample presents behavior of perpetration of medium or severe Cyberbullyning and 3% of the sample shows behaviors of victimization at medium or serious level. The instrument used has moderate reliability scores. After the Exploratory Factor Analysis, the sample scores make up a structure of five factors, which after the withdrawal of an item, manages to explain a 49.59% of the variance. Finally, it is concluded that similar studies are necessary in other populations to strengthen this alternative model.
