VIOLENCIA A LA MUJER: UNA NEGACIÓN AL DERECHO A UNA VIDA DIGNA

Description: La presente investigación parte de la promulgación de Ley Contra la Violencia de la Mujer y la Familia (Ley 103) en el Ecuador; lo que conlleva al análisis del marco jurídico internacional y nacional sobre la violencia contra la mujer; la evolución normativa a partir de la lucha constante de movimientos de mujeres por desestructurar un patriarcado aquilosado en el derecho y poner en evidencia la violencia como un atentado frecuente al derecho a una vida digna de la mujer. Se invita a la reflexión del por qué la Ley 103, los nuevos cambios y desafíos que impone la nueva Ley Orgánica Integral para Prevenir y Erradicar la Violencia contra las mujeres promulgada el 5 de febrero del 2018.
The present investigation presents an approach starting from the enactment of the Law Against Violence against Women and the Family (Law 103), a brief reference and analysis of the main instruments, international and national legal framework on Violence against women, its evolution from the constant struggle of feminine movements is invited to the reflection of why Law 103, which happened in the international arena, which happens with new changes and challenges with the new Integral Organic Law to Prevent and Eradicate Violence against women promulgated on February 5, 2018.
