The EELA-2 Project (E-science grid facility for Europe and Latin America), aumed to build a high capacity grid with quality production, giving global access to resources of distributed computing, storing and networking required by different applications that operate in scientific cooperation between Europe /EU) and Latin America (LA).
One of the main objectives of this project was to assure the sustainability in long term of the e-infrastructure, beyond its end on March 31, 2010.
