La Unidad Educativa Pedro Carbo recibe estudiantes de los niveles sociales, culturales y educativos de las zonas urbana y rural del cant?n Guaranda; encontr?ndose en el grupo alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales, que en este caso corresponden a retardo mental leve; que se detecta luego de las investigaciones realizadas por el Departamento del Orientaci?n Educativa. Siendo necesario realizar las adaptaciones correspondientes a una Unidad Did?ctica seleccionando con los contenidos m?s importantes y escogiendo t?cnicas y metodolog?as de trabajo que favorezcan la integraci?n a los equipos y la colaboraci?n de los pares en el aula; destacando que se lograron el objetivo propuesto de implementar estrategias de aprendizaje que ayudaron a los tres estudiantes a alcanzar aprendizajes en funci?n de su condici?n; por lo que se concluye que, los estudiantes que tienen necesidades especiales deben ser tomados en cuenta dentro de la planificaci?n escolar, para apoyar a su desarrollo integral.
The educational unit Pedro Carbo receives students from the social, cultural and educational levels of the urban and rural areas of Guaranda canton; found in the Group of pupils with special educational needs, which in this case correspond to mental retardation mild; that is detected after investigations by the Department of the educational orientation. Being necessary to make the adjustments corresponding to a unit teaching by selecting the most important content and picking techniques and methodologies that favor integration teams and the collaboration of the peers in the classroom; Stressing that they achieved the objective to implement learning strategies that helped the three students achieve learning according to their condition; It can be concluded that students who have special needs should be taken into account in school planning, to support their overall development.
