El presente trabajo de investigaci?n se plante? para determinar la utilizaci?n de m?todos interactivos en el proceso de ense?anza ? aprendizaje en la asignatura de Lengua y literatura a de los alumnos de primero de Bachillerato Internacional de la Unidad Educativa ?Mar?a Ang?lica Idrobo?, ubicada al norte de la ciudad de Quito de la provincia de Pichincha. En este proyecto participaron 25 alumnos BI y 8 docentes del ?rea en menci?n. Esta investigaci?n es de tipo descriptiva, cualitativa y documental, ya que se utiliz? como instrumento de investigaci?n un breve cuestionario elaborado por el autor de este proyecto, que constaba de 8 preguntas de respuesta abierta para alumnos y docentes. Esta herramienta permiti? recolectar informaci?n relevante y pertinente con respecto al tema propuesto para ser analizado. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron determinar la frecuencia con la que se utilizan las TIC en la ense?anza de la Lengua y la Literatura y el impacto positivo que tienen en el proceso de aprendizaje, as? tambi?n se evidencia el escaso conocimiento que los docentes de ?rea tienen sobre el manejo de estos nuevos m?todos interactivos y las limitaciones tecnol?gicas. Entre los resultados que m?s destacan en esta investigaci?n es la importancia que tiene la motivaci?n en el aprendizaje y la forma como los alumnos perciben ese estimulo, para aprovechar esta situaci?n este proyecto planteo algunas propuestas de soluci?n.
The present research work was designed to determine the use of interactive methods in the teaching - learning process in the subject of Language and Literature to the students of the first International Baccalaureate of the Educational Unit "Mar?a Ang?lica Idrobo", located to the north from the city of Quito in the province of Pichincha. 25 BI students and 8 teachers from the aforementioned Area participated in this project. This research is descriptive, qualitative and documentary, since a brief questionnaire prepared by the author of this project, which consisted of 8 open-ended questions for students and teachers, was used as a research instrument. This tool allowed to collect relevant and pertinent information regarding the proposed topic to be analyzed. The results obtained allowed us to determine the frequency with which TIC are used in the teaching of Language and Literature and the positive impact they have on the learning process, as well as the scarce knowledge that Area teachers have about the handling of these new interactive methods and technological limitations. Among the results that stand out in this research is the importance of motivation in learning and how students perceive that stimulus, to take advantage of this situation this project raised some proposed solutions.
