La siguiente investigaci?n propone lineamientos que impulsen la reconstrucci?n y resignificaci?n del PEI de la Escuela de Educaci?n B?sica ?Joel Monroy? para incrementar su ?ndice de inclusi?n de correspondencia con las pol?ticas educativas inclusivas del estado ecuatoriano. Desde la perspectiva te?rica, se centr? en las investigaciones de Booth y Ainscow, (2002). Se condujo desde el modelo de investigaci?n acci?n, dada su vocaci?n por comprender la pr?ctica y a mejorar la situaci?n en la que tiene lugar. Los resultados nos indican que los procesos inclusivos est?n condicionados por un cambio en la gesti?n directiva para poder aplicar pr?cticas inclusivas de forma efectiva en cuanto al direccionamiento estrat?gico y horizonte institucional con lo que se reflejar? en las pr?cticas escolares inclusivas. Asimismo, se necesita de un curr?culo amplio y flexible que promueva la diversidad vinculando a todos los actores de la comunidad, que permita la construcci?n de un proyecto educativo institucional inclusivo para beneficio del estudiantado. Con base en lo dicho, se genera una propuesta que promueve la congruencia entre el Index de inclusi?n, las prescripciones del Ministerio de Educaci?n y las perspectivas de educaci?n inclusivas catalizadas en el programa de postgrado y acreditadas en la experiencia investigadora.
The following research project proposes guidelines that promote the reconstruction and resignification of the PEI at Joel Monroy School of Basic Education in order to increase its inclusion rate which has to be aligned with the inclusive educational policies of the Ecuadorian Government. From the theoretical perspective, it focused on the investigations of Booth and Ainscow, (2002). It was conducted through an action research model that seeks to understand its practice and improve the situation in which it takes place. The results show that the inclusive processes are influenced by a change in directive management. When these changes take place, it will be possible to apply effectively inclusive practices in terms of strategic direction and institutional horizon that will be reflected in inclusive school practices. Likewise, a broad and flexible curriculum is needed so that it promotes diversity by linking all actors in the education community which allows the creation of an inclusive institutional educational project that benefits all students. Based on what has been said, a proposal is designed that promotes onsistency among the Inclusion Index, the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the inclusive educational perspectives that are generated by the postgraduate program and are certified in the research experience.
