LAS PRÁCTICAS DE ENSEÑANZA COMO DIMENSIÓN CONSTITUTIVA DE LA CALIDAD DE LA EDUCACIÓN

Description: THE TEACHING PRACTICES AS A CONSTITUTIVE DIMENSION OF THE EDUCATIONAL QUALITY RESUMEN El trabajo presenta los resultados de una investigación cuyo campo de estudio está conformado por las prácticas de enseñanza de docentes de escuela secundaria; consolida la base empírica obtenida en función de veinticuatro aspectos que, de acuerdo con la teoría seleccionada, definen qué son las prácticas de enseñanza de calidad y cuáles son las dimensiones involucradas en éstas: didáctica, teórica y ética; asimismo, a partir de testimonios de profesores, se detectan procesos de desajuste entre las dimensiones y aspectos constituyentes, los que requieren acciones educativas para ser modificados. ABSTRACT The paper presents the results of a research study related to the teaching practices in high school; it consolidates the empirical base obtained by means of twenty-four aspects which, according to the selected theory, define what the teaching practices are and which are the dimensions involved in said practices: the educational, the theoretical and the ethical ones. Also, starting with teachers’ statements we can detect imbalance processes between the dimensions and the forming aspects, which require educational decisions to modify them.
