GUIDING FOUNDATIONS OF INSTRUCTION AS A METHODOLOGICAL TOOL FOR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING RESUMEN Progresar desde el punto de vista científico metodológico debe ser una actividad cotidiana de todo el profesional docente universitario que aspire a ascender en las categorías docentes establecidas, este tipo de actividad se rige por un reglamento normado por el Ministerio de Educación Superior; no obstante, surgen variantes que contribuyen a perfeccionar la formación del profesor en su carrera universitaria. En este artículo se aborda los fundamentos esenciales, importancia y pasos metodológicos de las Bases Orientadoras de la Instrucción, aplicado en la impartición de clases conferencias de las asignaturas de Fútbol y Béisbol correspondiente a la disciplina Teoría y Práctica del Deporte del plan de estudios de la carrera de Cultura Física. El estudio se realiza por el Departamento de Didáctica del Deporte de conjunto con la Vicedecana Docente de la Facultad de Cultura Física de la Universidad de Camagüey. Se apoyó en los métodos vivencial experiencial, la revisión documental y los talleres de opinión crítica reflexiva. Los principales resultados consisten en demostrar la utilidad de dichas bases en el proceso formativo de los docentes que transitan por las categorías docentes. ABSTRACT Progress from the scientific methodological point of view must be a daily activity of all the university teaching professional aspiring to move up in the established teaching categories, this type of activity is governed by a regulation regulated by the Ministry of Higher Education; nevertheless, variants emerge that contribute to perfect the teacher's training in his university career. This article deals with the essential foundations, importance and methodological steps of the Instruction Bases, applied in the teaching of lectures of the subjects of Football and Baseball corresponding to the discipline Theory and Practice of Sport of the curriculum of the Physical Culture career. The study is carried out by the Department of Sports Didactics together with the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture of the University of Camagüey. It relied on experiential methods, documentary review and reflective critical opinion workshops. The main results consist in demonstrating the usefulness of said bases in the formative process of the teachers who pass through the teaching categories.
