PERMANENT TRAINING EVALUATION AND HISTORICAL TRENDS IN ECUADORRESUMENEl tema sobre evaluación formativa desde cualquier espectro, en cualquier país del mundo es de vital importancia y más aún si se expresa como permanente. Por lo que es importante determinar la tendencia histórica la cual da cuenta de la evolución y cambios que ha sufrido durante la historia en el Ecuador. Para el estudio se precisa la historia desde el año 1826 hasta la actualidad, la misma devela tres etapas muy bien definidas, desde la evaluación meramente mercantilista hasta la evaluación formativa mirada como la gestora de una cultura de mejora permanente. El presente trabajo de investigación tributa a las Ciencias Pedagógicas conceptualizando a la evaluación formativa permanente a partir de las tendencias históricas detectadas, para dar respuesta a las exigencias que hoy por hoy rigen la Educación Superior en el país.PALABRAS CLAVE: Evaluación; evaluación formativa; evaluación formativa permanente.ABSTRACTThe issue of formative evaluation from any spectrum in any country in the world is of vital importance and even more so if it is expressed as permanent. So it is important to determine the historical trend which accounts for the evolution and changes it has suffered during history in Ecuador. For the study the history is defined from the year 1826 to the present, it reveals three very well defined stages, from the purely mercantilist evaluation to the formative evaluation regarded as the manager of a culture of permanent improvement. The present research work tribute to the Pedagogical Sciences conceptualizing the permanent formative evaluation based on the historical trends detected, in order to respond to the demands that today Higher Education in the country govern.KEYWORDS: Evaluation; formative evaluation; permanent formative evaluation.
