AN APPROACH TO THE REALITY OF UNIVERSITY DIDACTICS IN THE ECUADORRESUMENSaber qué es la didáctica universitaria y cuál ha sido el alcance científico sobre el tema, han sido inspiraciones de indagación por parte de los autores de este trabajo para exponer los más actuales y pertinentes conocimientos al respecto. El estudio de la Didáctica actual indica, que la universidad en su currículo, la considera una disciplina netamente instrumental, la clase solemne continúa predominando, se atribuye al docente la responsabilidad del desarrollo didáctico, tanto para el mejoramiento de los procesos de enseñanza como para evidenciar el atasco que presenta la disciplina, las nuevas tecnologías y los ambientes virtuales interactivos de aprendizaje marcan una nueva directriz de desarrollo científico mundial. Se evidencian cambios para el estudiante como ente activo de su proceso de aprendizaje. Es evidente que un cambio inmediato en la matriz del conocimiento en nuestro país, resulta inminente. La didáctica es, entre otras materias, una de las partes esenciales del desarrollo de nuevas técnicas y estrategias. Todo esto nos muestra una perspectiva de cambio, respecto al desarrollo didáctico en las aulas universitarias y que aún nos falta mucho por hacer e investigar para poder consolidar esta disciplina como ciencia.PALABRAS CLAVE: Didáctica; enseñanza; conocimiento; desarrollo didáctico.ABSTRACTKnowing what the University didactics and what has been the scientific scope on the subject, were inspirations of inquiry by the authors of this work to expose the most current and relevant knowledge in this regard. He study of the didactic current indicates, that the University in its curriculum, it considered a discipline purely instrumental, the class solemn continues predominating, is attributed to the teaching it responsibility of the development didactic, both for the improvement of them processes of teaching as for evidence the jam that presents it discipline, the new technologies and them environments virtual interactive of learning mark a new guideline of development scientific world. Changes are evident for the student as an active body of their learning process. It is clear that an immediate change in the matrix of knowledge in our country is imminent. Among other subjects, teaching is one of the essential parts of the development of new techniques and strategies. All of this shows us a perspective of change, with respect to the educational development in the University classroom and still we need much to make and investigate to consolidate this discipline as a science.KEYWORDS: Teaching; learning; knowledge; teaching development.
