THE CONCEPTION OF THE UTILITY OF THE VIRTUE IN THE TRAINING OF TOURISM PROFESSIONALS FROM THE PHILOSOPHY-SOCIETY RELATIONSHIP RESUMEN En el contexto actual, constituye una prioridad y un desafío a enfrentar por las instituciones universitarias cubanas y en especial por los colectivos pedagógicos, el modo de actuación martiana a través de la concepción de: utilidad de la virtud, que se asume desde un paradigma humanista, crítico e histórico-cultural. El trabajo que se presenta tiene importancia en la actualidad pues contribuye a la preparación de los estudiantes de la carrera de Turismo en formación inicial a partir de acciones planificadas e intencionadas desde la asignatura Filosofía y Sociedad de modo que propicie la formación de los futuros trabajadores del Turismo en altos valores humanos, lo que se hace mucho más complejo frente a una globalización mercantilista y deshumanizada a nivel mundial y explica esta particularidad la búsqueda de soluciones propias, a partir del aprovechamiento de las inmensas reservas formativas subyacentes en la obra y el pensamiento de José Martí y de manera más concreta, en su concepción acerca de las virtudes y su utilidad. Se utilizan métodos del conocimiento teórico como: análisis-síntesis, inducción-deducción, lógico-histórico. PALABRAS CLAVE: utilidad de la virtud; educación moral; educación en valores. ABSTRACT In the present context it constitutes a priority and challenge to confront by the Cuban university institutions and in particular the pedagogical groups, the mode of action Marti in the idea of the utility of the virtue, which assume from a humanist, critical and historical-cultural paradigm. The work that is presented is of great importance nowadays because it contributes to the preparation of the students of the career of tourism in initial formation from planned and intentional actions from the subject philosophy and society so that it propitiates the formation of the future workers of the tourism in high human values, what becomes much more complex in the face of a mercantilist and dehumanized globalization globally and explains this peculiarity the search of own solutions, from the use of the immense underlying training reserves in the work and the thought of José Martí and in a more concrete way, in his conception of the virtues and its usefulness.
