Emotional competitiveness in an educational unit of Quito

The purpose of this research is to make a diagnosis about the emotional state of the uses and administration of a private school in the city of Quito, as well as; Identify how the possibilities of the context influence the decisions and actions taken by the data and the administration of the educational unit. A structured questionnaire developed by Marcelo Manucci was applied to a sample of 34 teachers and administrative employees. Using the statistical package SPSS correlational and correspondence statistical analysis was performed. The results indicate that the teachers and administrative staff of the institution are located in the quadrant. INSPIRATION, whose context is stimulating and its response is reflective that allows a driving emotions where thought, creation and expansion of decision alternatives, favor collaboration and mutual help in teamwork.
La presente investigación tiene por objetivo realizar un diagnóstico sobre el estado emocional de los docentes y administrativos de un colegio privado de la ciudad de Quito; así como identificar cómo el contexto influye en las decisiones y acciones que toman los docentes y administrativos de la unidad educativa. Se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado desarrollado por Marcelo Manucci a una muestra de 34 docentes y empleados administrativos. Utilizando el paquete estadístico SPSS se realizó el análisis estadístico correlacional y de correspondencia. Los resultados indican que los docentes y personal administrativo de la institución se sitúan en el cuadrante INSPIRACION, cuyo contexto es estimulante y su respuesta es reflexiva permitiendo una adecuada conducción de emociones donde el pensamiento, la creación y la ampliación de alternativas de decisión, favorecen la colaboración y la ayuda mutua en el trabajo en equipo.
