The technical and financial feasibility of a hybrid concentrated solar power (CSP) plant running with an organic Rankine cycle (ORC) and a combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) as a backup system is analyzed in this work. The study aims to integrate the small-??scale (<5MW) designed CSP-??ORC/CCGT system with an industrial plant in Ecuador to cover the electricity demand of the company.
