Description

Julia M? Mart?n is a thriving artist resident in La Orotava, in the island of Tenerife. (Spain). She studied Fine Arts at the University of La Laguna, and since 2004 she began to forge an original work of art fruit of experimentation with textiles mixed techniques, in a sort of hybridization between painting, sculpture and cloths. Since "Between cloths and frames", one of her first series, passing through the pictorial installations of "Amorfoformas", we can see a characteristic component tactile, sensitive, evocative of the use of wool, a material that is full of meanings that takes us back to the ancient practice of sewing and the spinning wheel. Art and society. Journal of Research, interviews this valuable emerging artist in the exhibition circuit of the Canary Islands.
