Australia Government is looking for the well been of the population in the long run by affordable construction costs and sustainable designs for citizens. Regulation is the main source for it, and has a double effect on the population in terms of labour sources and affordable options for construction for Australian people. Just on this July 2015 the Government declared to been avid of information related with sustainability since regulations require new information to achieve these goals. Therefore this research will be useful to Melbourne University and researches interested to begin formal relationship between Australian Government regulation organism of construction (Australia) and produces/suppliers of construction materials. The conclusions from this research aloud the reader understand benefits of using sustainable or traditional materials from different points of view. Energy consumption defines the best model to be use, however indoor temperatures benefits could created a different perspective on the best performance between models. Moreover, both materials have to be attached with local regulations and finally the final decision to use one or other material is supported on long run cost and ethical interest of the owners/builders. Therefore the interest of Australian Government is important, since regulations could be change for the long term benefits of the population; besides Melbourne University researchers has the key for that which is knowledge sources on the field. This case of study is attached to the interest of generate information for future sustainable construction in Melbourne.
