Description

In the present study oil in water (O/W) emulsions, stabilized with different blends of emulsifiers (Tween 20 and Span 60), were prepared using three emulsification techniques: high-shear mixing, cross-flow membrane and rotating membrane emulsification. Two types of formulations were proposed: The first one was emulsion with a low concentration (LC) of emulsifiers (0.1%) and the second formulation consists on emulsions with a high concentration (HC) of emulsifiers (2%). For both systems, the concentration of the dispersed phase was maintained at 10%.
