Description

Acive Green System aims to be an innovaive project, regarding the use of living wall systems as evaporaive coolers and natural desiccants. During the design process many changes were performed and many aspects were analyzed and considered in order to improve the prototype. Therefore, consuling with mentors and some experts on the subject was important to determine some boundaries and design strategies that help following the development and establishing the best strategies to be used within the project. Andy van den Dobbelsteen as a irst mentor was extremely helpful not only in the technical aspects regarding Architectural Engineering Technology and Climate Design, but in the right direcion thereof, which helped not to lose the moivaion and structure within the process. Marc Otele, as an expert in green wall systems was extremely helpful in the well understanding of green wall systems and its elements. Besides, Michael Maks Davis and Bob Ursem were extremely important in the development of this project due to their knowledge and experience regarding green systems and environments. I would like to thank all of them, not just for the technical guidance but for the moivaion and inspiraion that I felt ater every session, especially, understanding that a failure is not a mistake, but it is part of the process of learning. Finally, I would like to thank my mentors during this journey in TuDelt for their support and moivaion and extreme dedicaion, who have inspired me.
