A graduate program in Biomedical Engineering (BME) is presented. This program is suported by the Prometeo Project of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Republic of Ecuador. The BME graduate program is research oriented and it is promoted by the department of Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication as well as the Computer Science Department of University of Cuenca in Ecuador.
