Description

In Ecuador, the country's electricity grid is mainly supplied by conventional power generation systems (fossil fuels and hydroelectric). Currently, it has a low rate of contribution of renewable energy. Although in the last decade the government has done many efforts to include renewable generation systems in the energy network of the country. The lack of innovative proposals and the absence of foreign investment haven?t allowed that this aim has been accomplished. For this reason, in order to implement a system of energy generation from renewable sources to provide energy to the country, not only citizens but also ruler?s integration efforts are going to be required.
