Cómo ser un sujeto perfecto de su majestad: un análisis a partir del concepto de edad y juventud en textos jurídicos y poéticos de la colonia (Dossier Seis miradas al cuerpo y al deseo de una poética latinoamericana desde hace cinco siglos)

Description: This work traces the notion of youth in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries from two categories of texts, the first a legal type with a list of merits and services that allows us to understand the age aspect of a person as the search for a civilizing trait, and the second of a literary type, with two poems by Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, which show the presence of two strong categories marking the way to be young in the colony, on the one hand carpe diem, characterized by young people, and on the other the puer senex, a paradigm of behavior and strategy of containment in reality, towards young people, that is, the way of being young during that period.
Este trabajo rastrea la noción de juventud en los siglos XVI y XVII a partir de dos categorías de textos, la primera de tipo legal con una relación de méritos y servicios que nos permite entender el aspecto etario de una persona como la búsqueda de un rasgo civilizatorio, y la segunda de tipo literario, con dos poemas de Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, que evidencian la presencia de dos categorías fuertes marcando la manera de ser joven en la colonia, por un lado el carpe diem, caracterizado por las mocedades, y por otro el puer senex, un paradigma de comportamiento y estrategia de contención en realidad, hacia las mocedades, es decir la manera de ser joven en esa época.
