La integración política y económica entre América Latina y la Unión Europea: ¿en qué punto nos encontramos para el caso de la Comunidad Andina? (Otros Temas)

Description: Este artículo presenta un breve análisis de la situación actual de las negociaciones para establecer un Acuerdo de Asociación entre la Unión Europea y la Comunidad Andina, tomando como punto de partida los resultados de IV Cumbre Unión Europea-América Latina y el Caribe, realizada en Viena, Austria en el 2006, como también las últimas decisiones del Consejo Presidencial Andino, en donde se pueden apreciar algunos elementos definitorios de lo que podría ser la integración con Europa, la cual, sin lugar a dudas, constituye una prioridad para los países andinos y para el resto de países latinoamericanos.
This article presents a brief analysis of the present situation of the negotiations to establish an Association Agreement between the European Union and the Andean Community, using as a starting point the results of the 1V European Union-Latin America and Caribbean Summit carried out in Vienna in 2006. Such negotiations also take into account the latest decisions of the Andean Presidential Council, in which can be found some defining elements of what could be Andean-European integration, an integration thats without a doubt, constitutes a priority for the Andean countries as well as for the rest of Latin America.
