A certain type of writing seems to contain within itself the need to “repeat” the occurrence of experience. However, the repetition that involves the occurrence contains an impossibility: to return to that something lived and, in this sense, to represent it. Paradoxically, it is in the language, and very particularly in the writing, where that power that entails repetition is glimpsed as an echo of the impossibility of its registration. That area of repetition that does not include meaning, is inscribed as a footprint through a writing that, although it does not represent, lets read a multiplicity of meanings that refers to a certain negativity, that is, that allows us to approach, in a failed way, to what is not seen. The purpose of this essay is to read in La pasión según G.H. (1964), by Clarice Lispector, the scriptural possibilities that speak of an experience that cannot be represented and that, despite this, is manifested through the traces of the Real that writing allows.
Cierto tipo de escritura pareciera contener en sí la necesidad de “repetir” el acontecimiento de la experiencia. Sin embargo, la repetición que entraña el acontecimiento contiene una imposibilidad: la de volver a ese algo vivido y, en este sentido, representarlo. Paradójicamente, es en el lenguaje, y muy particularmente en la escritura, donde esa potencia que conlleva la repetición se entrevé como eco de la imposibilidad de su registro. Esa zona de la repetición que no abarca el significado, se inscribe como huella a través de una escritura que, si bien no representa, deja leer una multiplicidad de sentidos que remite a una cierta negatividad, es decir, que permite aproximarnos, de manera fallida, a lo que no se ve. La finalidad del presente ensayo es leer en La pasión según G. H. (1964), de Clarice Lispector, las posibilidades escriturales que hablan de una experiencia que no puede ser representada y que, a pesar de ello, se manifiesta a través de las trazas de lo real que permite la escritura.
