Material didáctico con recursos reciclados para fomentar la educación ambiental en niños de primero de básica

El objetivo de la investigación fue identificar aspectos sobre educación ambiental en niños/as del primer año de educación básica. A lo largo de esta indagación se expone la importancia de la educación ambiental basada en consultas teóricas actualizadas con el afán de cambiar la actitud de la población designada. La investigación de tipo explicativo – descriptivo, pretende relatar las propiedades más importantes del fenómeno en estudio, y dar a conocer la comprensión del fenómeno, siguiendo un diseño no experimental, con un enfoque cualitativo – cuantitativo. Los instrumentos se generaron a través de los indicadores por cada uno de las variables y su validación se dio tomando en cuenta el criterio de especialista y las pruebas pilotos. Se utilizó el método científico de la observación y los instrumentos de autoevaluación, la encuesta y la lista de cotejo. La muestra se tomó igual a la población conformada por 31 niños y dos docentes del primer año de educación básica de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional “Purísima Macas” en la cuidad de Macas provincia de Morona Santiago, Ecuador. El principal resultado demuestra la necesidad de realizar acciones para favorecer la educación ambiental, por lo que se propone una guía de elaboración de material didáctico con recursos reciclados para fomentar hábitos y costumbres ambientales en los niños.\n\nPalabras claves: Educación Ambiental, Hábitos y Costumbres Ambientales, Actividades con Recursos Reciclados, Material Didáctico.
Abstract\nThe objective of the research was to identify aspects about environmental education in children of the first year of basic education. Throughout this investigation the importance of environmental education based on up-to-date theoretical consultations is presented, with the aim of changing the attitude of the designated population. The investigation of explanatory - descriptive type, aims to relate the most important properties of the phenomenon under study, and to make known the understanding of the phenomenon, following a non - experimental design, with a qualitative - quantitative approach. The instruments were generated through the indicators for each of the variables and their validation was made taking into account the criterion of specialist and the pilot tests. We used the scientific method of observation and the self-assessment tools, the survey and the checklist. The sample was taken equal to the population made up of 31 children and two teachers of the first year of basic education of the Educational Unit "Purísima Macas" in the city of Macas province of Morona Santiago, Ecuador. The main result demonstrates the need to carry out actions to promote environmental education, so a guide is proposed for the development of didactic material with recycled resources to promote environmental habits and customs in children\n\nKey words: Environmental education, environmental habits and customs, Activities with recycled resources, Didactic material.
