La Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Antorcha Ltda., empezó sus actividades el 14 de enero de 1969 por la iniciativa de un grupo de profesores, agricultores y sacerdotes del sector de Quinindé con la finalidad de ahorrar y emitir créditos que en ese tiempo era para las vacaciones después del año escolar y en el año 2004 se crea formalmente la Cooperativa con el fin de captar más socios, que en la actualidad son siete mil, a los que se presta diferentes clases de servicios relacionados con el ahorro y emisión de préstamos. En la actualidad la Cooperativa se desarrolla en un mercado que se encuentra lleno de oportunidades y amenazas, que afectan el funcionamiento de la misma, es por tal razón que la Cooperativa ha presentado problemas en el departamento de Crédito, para lo cual se debe realizar una Auditoría de Gestión para poder evaluar la eficiencia y eficacia de las operaciones que se realizan para la recuperación de cartera y optimización de recursos económicos. El trabajo de investigación le permitirá a la Cooperativa contar con una herramienta para el análisis de la gestión administrativa donde se verifican las causas que afectan la incobrabilidad de las mismas, tomando decisiones adecuadas para mitigar los riesgos y reducir errores.
The Antorcha Ltd Credit Union, which on January 14, 1969 began is activities, by the initiative of a group of teachers, farmers and priests of the sector of Quinindé in order to save and issue credits which at that time was destined for the holidays after finishing the academic year, later in 2004 is formally created this Cooperative was formally established in order to attract more stockholders, who currently are seven thousand, to which provide different kinds of services related to savings and issuing loans. Nowadays, the Cooperative develops in a market with many opportunities and threats, affecting the working of the same, for this reason the Cooperative has presented problems in is Credit Department that is why it is necessary carries out a Management Audit to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the performed transactions to recover of portfolio and optimize the economic resources. This research work will allow the Cooperative having a tool for the analysis of its administrative management where it checks for the causes affecting the uncollectibility of the same, taking appropriate decisions to reduce risks and errors.
