En el Ecuador el sector automotriz es considerado como fuente de trabajo por las diferentes actividades relacionadas con el sector como manufactura, metal mecánica, entre otras. En las calles y avenidas de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas acogen alrededor de 35.000 vehículos. El problema radica que existe escasez de talleres mecánicos que realicen trabajos puntuales de mantenimiento con el uso de tecnología y personal capacitado. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad determinar la viabilidad económica y financiera de la creación de una mecánica automotriz en la ciudad de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, además contribuye al crecimiento de la ciudad y satisfacción de las necesidades de los ciudadanos que poseen vehículos livianos. La mecánica automotriz ayudará a los habitantes ahorrar tiempo y costo, brindando servicios de mantenimiento preventivo para los vehículos, con el uso de tecnología y personal idóneo, evitando que se trasladen a ciudades aledañas por el servicio automotriz.
In Ecuador, the automotive field is considered one of the main fields of job opportunities due to the different activities related to it, such as manufacturing, metal mechanics, among others. On the streets and avenues of the Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas about 35.000 vehicles run each day. The problem resides in the lack of automotive repair shops that work punctually and that have the required technology and personal. The following research work has as an objective to determine the economic and financial viability for creating an automotive mechanics in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, also, in aims to be a positive contribution to the city and to satisfy the needs of those residents who own a car. The automotive mechanics will help the residents to save time and money by giving the cars the service of a preventive maintenance, using modern and efficient technology and personnel; avoiding like this the need of the residents to travel to another city to obtain said service.
