Esta investigación propone la creación de dos arreglos utilizando las técnicas de arreglos del guitarrista Joe Pass, recursos que fueron encontraron en dos temas los cuales fueron previamente analizados. Se trata de una investigación de enfoque cualitativo cuyo alcance es descriptivo . El análisis de los temas se realizó a partir de diferentes instrumentos de investigación tales como el análisis de documentos, transcripción, análisis de partituras y audición discográfica, técnicas que sirvieron para recolectar la información necesaria, identificando así los recursos utilizados por el guitarrista. Los temas a analizar fueron The Shadow of Your Smile y Just Friends del albúm Songs for Ellen de Joe Pass para extraer y aplicar los recursos melódicos, armónicos, rítmicos en dos arreglos musicales. Este análisis permite que el lector entienda los elementos que se aplicaron en la adaptación, y también a que se desarrolle un proceso de aprendizaje con relación al análisis y a la creación de arreglos.
This research proposes the creation of two arrangements using the techniques of orchestration and arrangements of the guitarist Joe Pass, resources that were found in two songs which were previously analyzed. It is a descriptive research which had a qualitative focus. The techniques used in this research were document analysis, transcription, analysis of scores and audition of the records to be analyzed, techniques that served to collect the necessary information, thus identifying the resources used by the guitarist. The songs to be analyzed were The Shadow of Your Smile and Just Friends of Joe Pass's Songs for Ellen album to identify and apply the melodic, harmonic, orchestral, rhythmic resources in two musical arrangements. This analysis allows the reader to understand the elements that were applied in the adaptation, and also to develop a learning process in relation to the analysis and the creation of arrangements.
