Description

El trabajo a continuación consiste en el desarrollo y diseño del proyecto arquitectónico para la nueva terminal fluvial, ubicado en el Barrio del Astillero, en la ciudad de Guayaquil. El proyecto busca traer de vuelta e incentivar un medio de transporte actualmente olvidado en la ciudad portuaria de Guayaquil, el transporte fluvial. Para esto, el proyecto propone incluir en la en lo posible todos los elementos naturales que lo rodean. El río Guayas, La isla Santay frente al terreno y los edificios patrimoniales de los alrededores. La Terminal fluvial está conformado por 5 volúmenes, divididos en 2 grupos de acuerdo a la actividad que se realizara y al programa ya establecido. Estos elementos cuentan con un espacio intermedio entre cada uno. Estos espacios crean plazas polivalentes en la que se podrá realizar toda actividad cultural y recreativa. El proyecto incluirá no solo un acceso o movilidad por medio del río, sino que impulsará el turismo a lo largo de varios puntos de la ciudad. Es decir, contara con la posibilidad de tener recorridos hacia zonas emblemáticas de nuestra ciudad como el Malecón 2000, el Parque Histórico, y la Isla Santay.
The work consist of the development and design of the architectural project for the new river terminal, located in the Barrio del Astillero, in the city of Guayaquil. The project seeks to bring back and encourage a means of transport currently forgotten in the port city of Guayaquil, river transport. For this, the project proposes to include as far as possible all the natural elements that surround it. The Guayas River, Santay Island in front of the land and the surrounding heritage buildings. The River terminal is made up of five volumes, divided into 2 groups according to the activity too be carried out and the program already established. These elements have an intermediate space between each one. These spaces create multipurpose squares in which cultural and recreational activities can be carried out. The project will include not only access or mobility through the river, but will promote tourism throughout various parts of the city. That is, it will have the possibility of having tours to emblematic areas of our city such as the Malecón 2000, the Historical Park, and Santay Island.
