El trabajo de titulación presente de la Propuesta para la creación de una empresa productora y comercializadora de chalecos airbag en la ciudad de Guayaquil tiene como objetivo analizar la factibilidad y viabilidad de la misma en un término de cinco años. Se plantea como idea de negocio un dispositivo de seguridad para los motorizados, una chaqueta airbag, como elemento de seguridad con el fin el mitigar los daños ocurridos en accidentes. Según el Informe de la Agencia Nacional de Tránsito (2018), para el 2014 el parque automotor estaba representado por: 30 % automóviles, 23 % motocicletas, 21 % camionetas, 15 % jeep, 5 % camiones y 6 % otros. Siendo las motos el vehículo con mayor incremento, y de la ocurrencia de accidentes, las tres provincias con mayor siniestralidad en el país son: Pichincha, Guayas y Tungurahua; siendo la zona urbana la que presenta el mayor registro de siniestros de tránsito con 73%. Para ello, se consideró realizar un análisis de mercado y financieros para determinar la rentabilidad de la propuesta, arrojando los resultados de un VAN de $49,188.76 y un TIR de 34.73%
The present work of the Proposal for the creation of a company that produces and markets airbag vests in the city of Guayaquil aims to analyse the feasibility and viability of the same in a term of five years. A safety device for motorized people, an airbag jacket, is proposed as a business idea as a safety element in order to mitigate the damage that occurs in accidents. According to the Report of the National Transit Agency (2018), for 2014 the automotive fleet was represented by: 30% cars, 23% motorcycles, 21% trucks, 15% jeep, 5% trucks and 6% others. Being motorcycles the vehicle with the highest increase, and of the occurrence of accidents, the three provinces with the highest accident rate in the country are: Pichincha, Guayas and Tungurahua; being the urban area the one with the highest register of traffic accidents with 73%. For this, it was considered to carry out a market and financial analysis to determine the profitability of the proposal, yielding the results of a NPV of $ 49,188.76 and an IRR of 34.73%
