Existen varios métodos de control para conocer el estado de un proyecto, es importante saber elegir que método se va a utilizar de acuerdo a la magnitud y lo que se necesita conocer acerca del proyecto. La integración de las técnicas de control Critical Path Method (CPM) y Earned Value Management (EVM) en el análisis de un proyecto, es el caso de estudio de este Trabajo de Grado. El Valor Ganado de un proyecto, ejecutado sobre las actividades de la ruta crítica del mismo, facilita la aplicación de esta técnica reduciendo costos y tiempo. En ningún caso se debe descuidar las actividades que no pertenecen a la ruta crítica, puesto que se pueden distender en tiempo y convertirse en una de ellas. Los indicadores de desempeño que dan como resultado en este método no solucionan los problemas que puedan ocurrir en la obra, son valores que nos permiten conocer la realidad de la obra y en el caso de ser negativos, tomar las correcciones pertinentes para resolverlos.
There are several control methods to know the status of a project, it is important to know how to choose the method that will be used according to the magnitude and what you need to know about the project. The integration of the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) control techniques in the analysis of a project is the case study of this Degree Work. The Earned Value of a project, executed on the activities of the critical route of the same, facilitate the application of this technique reducing costs and time. In any case, activities that are not related to the critical route must be neglected, the position that can be delayed in time and become one of them. The performance indicators that result in this method do not solve the problems that can occur in the work, the values that allow us to know the reality of the work and the case of being negative, take the relevant corrections to solve them.
