El presente proyecto busca identificar las fuentes de financiamiento que puede obtener la Universidad Laica Vicente Rocafuerte ULVR de la ciudad de Guayaquil, con el objetivo de proponer alternativas útiles que le permita recaudar los ingresos necesarios para cubrir sus costos y gastos. Para el desarrollo del trabajo se procedió a utilizar la metodología de la investigación cualitativa, que a través del método bibliográfico – documental por medio de la que se revisaron las teorías y fundamentos relacionados con el financiamiento de universidades y creación de maestrías, se logó recopilar información relevante como el número de estudiantes de la institución, su nivel de ingresos y el estado actual. Una vez que se analizaron los datos se procedió a proponer alternativas que mejoren el nivel de ingresos de la entidad por medio de la implementación de nuevos programas de maestrías. Finalmente se expusieron las conclusiones y recomendaciones en base a lo anteriormente expuesto.
The present project seeks to identify the sources of financing that can be obtained by the University Laica Vicente Rocafuerte ULVR of the city of Guayaquil, with the objective of proposing useful alternatives that allow it to collect the necessary income to cover its costs and expenses. For the development of the work we proceeded to use the methodology of qualitative research, which through the bibliographic - documentary method through which the theories and fundamentals related to the financing of universities and creation of masters were reviewed, it was possible to gather information relevant as the number of students of the institution, their level of income and the current status. Once the data was analyzed, alternatives were proposed to improve the income level of the entity through the implementation of new master's programs. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations were presented based on the above.
