Esta investigación pretende demostrar cómo el contenido de las canciones de los artistas que se encuentran en el top 10 de los Hot Latin Songs Billboard refuerza la hipersexualización femenina en la sociedad actual pues tal como lo expresa Martínez (2014), el tipo de música que lidera la lista musical, muestra al género femenino como seres inferiores que solo están al servicio de los deseos sexuales del hombre. Para esta investigación se realizó el análisis del contenido lírico de las 30 canciones pertenecientes a los años 2018 - 2020 de la lista latina de los Billboard, a partir de las cuales las personas de género femenino son tratadas como objeto de deseo sexual, sumisas y complacientes. Para este trabajo investigativo se analizó el mensaje que emiten estos temas musicales, las frecuencias del uso del lenguaje que cosifica a la mujer y como el género dominante en la lista Billboard.
This research aims to show how the content of the songs of the artists that are in the top 10 of the Hot Latin Songs Billboard reinforces female hypersexualization in today's society, as Martínez (2014) expresses it, the type of music that leads the musical list, shows the feminine gender as inferior beings that are only at the service of the sexual desires of the man. For this research, the analysis of the lyrical content of the 30 songs belonging to the years 2018 - 2020 of the Latin Billboard list was carried out, from which people of the female gender are treated as objects of sexual desire, submissive and complacent. For this investigative work, the message emitted by these musical themes, the frequencies of the use of language that objectify women and as the dominant gender on the Billboard list were analyzed.
