El proyecto que se presenta en este documento, corresponde al diseño arquitectónico de un Mercado Artesanal ubicado en el centro de la ciudad de Guayaquil, provincia del Guayas. La finalidad primordial de este proyecto es generar un hito cultural, referente identitario de los ecuatorianos, mostrando un diseño con cualidades formales que permitan hacer posible este objetivo, a través de elementos llamativos presentes en las fachadas; y funcionalmente, albergando las distintas actividades requeridas en el programa arquitectónico para un mercado artesanal que permita mostrar los diferentes productos artesanales que ofrece nuestra cultura. El proyecto se muestra con un diseño permeable que permita observar lo que sucede en el interior, desde el exterior y viceversa; de esta manera, se potencializa el uso del mercado ya que los posibles usuarios pueden observar lo que ocurre en el interior de la edificación, estando en el exterior, y así mismo, permitir una estrecha relación con las áreas exteriores adyacentes al proyecto y las plazas públicas que también se proponen en la solución arquitectónica del diseño.
The project presented in this document corresponds to the architectural design of an Artisan Market located in the center of the city of Guayaquil, Guayas province. The primary purpose of this project is to generate a cultural milestone, an identity reference for Ecuadorians, showing a design with formal qualities that allow this objective to be made possible, through striking elements present on the facades; and functionally, hosting the different activities required in the architectural program for an artisan market that allows to show the different artisan products that our culture has to offer. The project is shown with a permeable design that allows the observer what happens inside from the outside view and vice versa; In this way, the use of the market is potentiated since possible users can observe what happens inside the building, while being outside and likewise, allow a close relationship with the exterior areas adjacent to the project and the squares, public spaces that are also proposed in the architectural solution of the design.
