En el presente estudio se explica el comportamiento de las pymes en el Ecuador y su afectación por variables externas que no pueden controlar, como marcos dentro de los marcos regulatorios del sector automotriz, aumento de aranceles, disposición de cupos de importación, todos estos factores asociados a la disminución del Producto Interno Bruto en el Ecuador, producto de la caída de los precios del petróleo en el mercado mundial afectaron a todos los sectores económicos en el país. El sector de automotriz dedicado a la venta de repuestos, reparación y otros servicios igualmente se vio afectado por las normativas legales. Una de las características de este sector de las pymes que son predominantemente familiares, es que no poseen una cultura tributaria adecuada y requieren de un ecosistema que los apoyen para que sean sostenibles en el largo plazo. Automotriz Korea es una empresa familiar que adolece de problemas en el manejo de sus inventarios, al no poseer un sistema de gestión para el manejo adecuado de sus inventarios, posee stock que ha sido difíciles de vender. El aumento del stock de inventario inmoviliza efectivo muy necesario para las pymes en la actualidad. La propuesta es integral y no solo se refiere a la incorporación de nuevas herramientas tecnológicas para la toma de decisiones, sino también de un proceso de capacitación para los miembros de la organización, siendo el intangible más valioso para las organizaciones si quieren ser competitivos en el largo plazo.
This study explains the behavior of SMEs in Ecuador and its involvement by external variables that can not be controlled, such as frameworks within the regulatory frameworks of the automotive sector, increase of tariffs, provision of import quotas, all these factors associated to the decrease of the Gross Domestic Product in Ecuador, as a result of the drop in oil prices in the world market affected all economic sectors in the country. The automotive sector dedicated to the sale of spare parts, repair and other services was also affected by legal regulations. One of the characteristics of this sector of SMEs that are predominantly familiar is that they do not have an adequate tax culture and require an ecosystem that supports them to be sustainable in the long term. Automotive Korea is a family business that has problems in the management of its inventories, since it does not have a management system for the proper management of its inventories, it has stock that has been difficult to sell. The increase in the stock of inventory immobilizes much needed cash for SMEs today. The proposal is comprehensive and not only refers to the incorporation of new technological tools for decision making, but also a training process for the members of the organization, being the most valuable intangible for organizations if they want to be competitive in the long term.
