Introducción: El sellado dentinario inmediato juega un papel muy importante en la odontología adhesiva, cumple un papel fundamental al momento de realizar restauraciones indirectas, consiste en la aplicación de un ahdesivo con relleno de manera uniforme alrededor de la dentina recién cortada una vez culminada la preparación. Propósito: El objetivo del presente trabajo fue analizar la efectividad del sellado dentinario inmediato, de manera que se pueda comprender su importancia. Materiales y métodos: El presente trabajo de investigación, tiene un enfoque cualitativo de tipo retrospectivo con un diseño descriptivo. El estudio se basó en el análisis de 30 artículos los cuales se obtuvieron mediante búsquedas en Pubmed, ProQues, Google Scholar. Resultados: En base al análisis de los artículos, se pudo determinar que el sellado dentinario nos proporciona mayor efectividad si se lo realiza previo a la toma de impresión, debe realizarse con un adhesivo con nanorelleno, el más sugerido en base a la literatura es el Optibond FL, la impermeabilización de la dentina disminuirá la sensibilidad, dará protección al órgano dentino pulpar y mejorará considerablemente la adhesión. Conclusiones: Se determinó que el uso del sellado dentinario de manera inmediata, incrementa su eficacia mejorando sus beneficios como protección, hiposensibilidad y adhesión, lo cual se debe considerar al momento de realizar restauraciones indirectas.
Introduction: Immediate dentin sealing plays a very important role in adhesive dentistry, it plays a fundamental role when making indie restorations, it consists in the application of a filling with an uniform filling around the freshly cut dentin once the preparation is finished. Purpose: The objective of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of immediate dentin sealing, to better understand the importance. Materials and methods: This research has a qualitative retrospective approach with a descriptive design. The study was based on the analysis of 30 articles that were obtained by searching Pubmed, ProQues, Google Scholar. Results: Based on the analysis of the articles, it was possible to demonstrate that the dentin sealing is highly effective, if it is done before the impression taking, it should be done with an adhesive with nano-filler, the most suggested based on the Literature is optibond fl, waterproofing the dentin will decrease sensitivity, protect the dentin pulp organ, and considerably improve adhesion. Conclusions: To conclude, the immediate use of the dentin sealing increases effectiveness by improving benefits of protection, hyposensitivity and adhesion. , which must be considered when making indirect restorations.
