At the present time, public and private health organizations face the challenge of exchanging information in a safe and trustable way to guarantee a better attention to patients, based in evidences and reliable information that supports decision making; that in healthcare could represent the difference between patients life and death. Service Oriented Architecture allow the organizations to integrate the I.T. platforms, existing applications and the information; with the business logic, the business processes and the organization goals in a structured environment of information exchange. The increasingly and accelerated growth of the information volumes that healthcare organizations generate every day, the constant advances of health related science and technology, changes in the services portfolio, and business, political and social changes require the organizations to implement an architecture that allows them to react in a fast and efficient way to new requirements in order to keep its competitiveness...
En la actualidad, las organizaciones de salud pública y privada enfrentan el reto de intercambiar información de manera confiable y segura para garantizar una mejor atención de los pacientes, basada en evidencias y en información que sirva como apoyo a la toma de decisiones; que en el caso de la salud puede representar la diferencia entre la vida y la muerte de un paciente. La Arquitectura Orienta a Servicios permite a las organizaciones integrar las plataformas tecnológicas, las aplicaciones existentes y la información que estas generan junto con la lógica, procesos y objetivos de negocio en un entorno de intercambio de información estructurado. El crecimiento acelerado de los volúmenes de información que las organizaciones de salud generan cada día, los constantes avances de la ciencia y tecnología para el cuidado de la salud, los cambios en los portafolios de servicios y los cambios políticos, sociales y de negocio obligan a las organizaciones a implementar una arquitectura que les permita reaccionar de manera ágil y eficiente a los nuevos requerimientos y así mantener su competitividad...
