Like any workplace, the laboratory must meet terms and conditions consistent with the provisions and follow safety and health laws, thereby preventing accidents at work and occupational diseases related to it. This work is carried out taking into account the need to establish security measures within the Environmental Protection Laboratory (LABPAM), for which a Workplace Risk Prevention Plan has been created, based on the analysis of the current situation of the organization on Occupational Health and Safety and current legal regulations. Chapter one of the following document contains an analysis of the current situation of the company, in which the organization of the laboratory is made known. Chapter two refers to the applicable legal framework on Health and Safety within the country and Chapter Three refers to those concepts necessary to define the final plans, presented in Chapter Five. Risk assessment is essential for its prevention; therefore, the guidelines established in the Procedure for Initial Identification and Risk Assessment in PETROECUADOR and its Subsidiaries have been used as a basis, and both the operational processes within the laboratory and the areas in which the staff develops have been reviewed. Al igual que cualquier lugar de trabajo, los laboratorios deben reunir condiciones acordes con las disposiciones y seguimientos legales de Seguridad y Salud; previniéndose de esta manera, accidentes durante el trabajo y enfermedades profesionales relacionadas al mismo. El presente trabajo se realiza tomando en cuenta la necesidad de establecer medidas de seguridad dentro del Laboratorio de Protección Ambiental (LABPAM), para lo que se ha creado un Plan de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, basado en el análisis de la situación actual de la organización en materia de Salud y Seguridad Ocupacional y la normativa legal vigente. El Capítulo uno del siguiente documento, contiene un análisis de la situación actual de la empresa, en el que se da a conocer la organización del laboratorio. El Capítulo dos, hace referencia al marco legal aplicable en materia de Seguridad y Salud dentro del país y en el Capítulo tres se hace mención a aquellos conceptos necesarios para definir los planes definitivos, presentados en el Capítulo cinco. La evaluación de riesgos es esencial para su prevención; por ello, se ha utilizado como base, las directrices establecidas en el Procedimiento para la Identificación Inicial y Evaluación de Riesgos en PETROECUADOR y sus Filiales, y se han revisado tanto los procesos operativos dentro del laboratorio, como las áreas en las que el personal desarrolla sus actividades...
