In the present study, one of the programs of greatest interest to the Ministry of Public Health is brought to the fore. The rotating boarding program is an academic process in which students in medical, nursing, obstetrics and nutrition careers. To discern the main difficulties in the distribution of places granted by the National Direction of Normatization of Human Talent in Health information was obtained through the formation of a focal group. Areas that present difficulties in the process are identified and the need to improve the delivery and reception times of information issued by the different higher education institutions and health establishments of the comprehensive public network and complementary network A number of indicators have been developed for monitoring and evaluating the rotational internship program to improve the strategies that implement activities to improve the aspects that delay the schedule established for the beginnings of the respective cohorts.
En el presente estudio se pone en conocimiento uno de los programas con mayor interés para el Ministerio de Salud Pública. El programa de internado rotativo, es un proceso académico en el cual los estudiantes de las carreras de medicina, enfermería, obstetricia y nutrición. Para discernir las principales dificultades en la distribución de plazas otorgadas por la Dirección Nacional de Normatización del Talento Humano en Salud se obtuvo información a través de la conformación de un grupo focal. Se identifican áreas que presentan dificultades en el proceso y se constata la necesidad de mejorar los tiempos de entrega y recepción de información emitida por las diferentes instituciones de educación superior y establecimientos de salud de la red pública integral y red complementaria Se han realizado varios indicadores, de seguimiento y evaluación del programa de internado rotativo que permitan mejorar las estrategias que implementación de actividades de provoquen la mejora de los aspectos que retrasan el cronograma establecido para los inicios de las cohortes respectivas.
