Análisis descriptivo sobre la participación política de la mujer en el gabinete ministerial durante el periodo de Rafael Correa (2013-2017) y Lenin Moreno (2017-2019)

The following research aims to carry out an analysis of the political participation of women in the ministerial cabinet during the period 2013-2019. A descriptive analysis will be carried out using feminist theory to understand the obstacles and limitations that have the structure of the political system based on a patriarchal logic, thus reproducing gender roles and visibly limiting female real participation in female politics. This analysis will show that, although the quota law is important in the insertion of women in political spaces, this regulation is not enough to guarantee female participation since it has application limitations. On the other hand, it will be explained if there was participation or political inclusion thanks to three indices (political trajectory, time in office and political affiliation) in the portfolios of states during the last presidential period of Rafael Correa and in the current presidential period of Lenin Moreno. Finally, it will be verified whether women continue to be assigned positions in political positions following gender role patterns, reproducing what the patriarchal system says in the differentiation of public and private space
La siguiente investigación tiene como objetivo efectuar un análisis sobre la participación política de la mujer en el gabinete ministerial durante los años 2013-2019. Se realizará un análisis descriptivo usando la teoría feminista para entender los obstáculos y limitantes que tienen la estructura del sistema político basado en una lógica patriarcal, reproduciendo de esta manera roles de género y limitando visiblemente la participación femenina en la política ecuatoriana. Este análisis mostrará que, si bien la ley de cuotas es importante en la inserción de la mujer en espacios políticos, esta normativa no es suficiente para garantizar la participación femenina ya que cuenta con limitaciones de aplicación. Por otro lado, se expondrá si existió participación o inclusión política gracias a tres índices (trayectoria política, tiempo en el cargo y afiliación política) en las carteras de estados durante el último periodo presidencial de Rafael Correa y en el periodo presidencial actual de Lenin Moreno. Por último, se verificará si se continúa asignando cargos hacia mujeres en cargos políticos siguiendo patrones de rol de género, reproduciendo lo que el sistema patriarcal dice en la diferenciación del espacio público y privado.
