Description

The study was conducted in the Brown Swiss cattle farm "CasantoPamba de Palugo" the experimental group divided into three age groups: Calves 0-6 months heifers 6-18 months and cows a total of 63 blood samples. Hematologic samples were processed in the laboratory LIVEXLAB performing blood counts by the method of digital count and hepato - renal metabolic profiles by colorimetry. Stool samples were performed by applying techniques of flotation, sedimentation and migration and clinical examinations of 21 animals were conducted with a total of 126 stool samples and clinical histories. The result of the investigation, found that in 126 stool samples exist the presence of gastrointestinal nematode parasites , with 70 % of infected calves in group 0-6 months, 11 % in group 6-18 months and 19% in the group of cows in production...
El estudio se realizó en el criadero de ganado Brown Swiss “Casanto Pamba de Palugo”, el grupo experimental, dividido en tres grupos etarios: Terneras de 0-6 meses, vaconas de 6-18 meses y vacas en producción, con un total de 63 muestras de sangre. Las muestras hematológicas fueron procesadas en el laboratorio LIVEXLAB, realizando hemogramas por el método de conteo digital y perfiles metabólicos hepato-renales por colorimetría. Con las muestras de heces, se realizaron exámenes coproparasitarios, aplicando técnicas de flotación, sedimentación y migración, y los exámenes clínicos, se realizaron a 21 animales, con un total de 126 muestras de heces e historias clínicas...
