The present thesis is made to facilitate the correct diagnosis and correct treatment plan in the corrections of “transversal problems” in patients that require Orthodontics, we can understand the importance and limits to treat a patient based on his facial biotype. Cone beam tomography is used in this project, since the importance of making measurements in volumetric reconstructions is observed in 3D, In this case, a comparison is made between the maxillary width of the vestibular facevestibular face, both in axial and coronal section in the molar a premolar área and another measurements of palatal face- palatal face is made in the same molar and premolar area for later comparison of results. Is important to understand the use of the tomography Cone beam is necessary because this tool can help us to make diagnosis, where we are going to work, since it is 1:1 imagine, giving us reliable results and measurements in this way. In our Project the tomographies are standardized and adequate protocol is made, which suggested correct measurement.
La presente tesis esta hecha para facilitar el diagnóstico correcto y a un adecuado plan de tratamiento en la corrección de problemas transversales en pacientes que requieren Ortodoncia, podemos entender la importancia y los límites para tratar a un paciente en base a su biotipo facial. En este proyecto se utilizan Tomografías Cone beam, ya que se observa la importancia de hacer medidas en reconstrucciones volumétricas 3D, En este caso se hace una comparación entre el ancho maxilar de cara vestibular derecha a cara vestibular izquierda, tanto en un corte axial como coronal en la zona molar y premolar y se hace otra medición de cara palatina a cara palatina igual en zona molar y premolar para su posterior comparación de resultados. Poder comprender la importancia de hacer diagnósticos con herramientas que nos permiten valorar la anatomía, la superficie, el ancho, donde vamos a trabajar, puesto que es una imagen de proporciones 1:1 dándonos de esta manera resultados y mediciones confiables. En nuestro proyecto se estandarizan las tomografías y se realiza un protocolo adecuado, lo cual sugieré mediciones correctas.
