Abordaje del psicólogo clínico en casos de abuso sexual infantil

This study seeks to know the approach of the clinical psychologist for cases of child sexual abuse; based on systemic theory, specifically on the ecological model. The present investigation focused on three intervention areas related to child sexual abuse in the Ecuadorian context, which are: Private psychological consultation, educational field and judicial scope. For the investigation, it was considered to work with an average of 5 to 8 clinical psychologists who have worked in one of the three areas mentioned above from cases of this topic, at least 3 years ago or from today. The methodology used has been from a qualitative approach using the narrative design and descriptive scope. The semi-structured interview is the method chosen for data collection. The research carried out indicates that within the psychologist is private consultation, from a systemic approach, he must work with the different systems of the vulnerable person; that is to say that the clinical approach is done in an individual and familiar way. Likewise, the clinical psychologist must know emerging patterns of action in cases of child sexual abuse. It was also evidenced that within the educational field in Ecuador, it is fundamental to follow the routes established by the Ministry of Education, which must be executed by the Department of Student Counseling (DECE). Finally, within the judicial scope the main intervention is made by the expert who is based on an intervention format established by the General Attorney of the Ecuadorian State.
Este estudio busca conocer el abordaje del psicólogo clínico en casos de abuso sexual infantil; basándose en la teoría sistémica, específicamente en el modelo ecológico. La presente investigación se enfocó en tres áreas de intervención relacionadas con el abuso sexual infantil en el contexto ecuatoriano, las cuales son: Consulta privada psicológica, ámbito educativo y ámbito judicial. Para la investigación se consideró trabajar con un promedio de 5 a 8 psicólogos clínicos que hayan trabajado en alguno de los ámbitos mencionados anteriormente, al menos hace 3 años o en la actualidad. La metodología utilizada ha sido desde un enfoque cualitativo, utilizando el diseño narrativo y un alcance descriptivo. La entrevista semiestructurada es el método escogido para la recolección de datos. La investigación realizada indica que dentro de la consulta privada del psicólogo, desde un enfoque sistémico, debe trabajar con los diferentes sistemas de la persona vulnerable; es decir que el abordaje clínico se lo realiza de forma individual y familiar. Asimismo, el psicólogo clínico debe conocer pautas emergentes de actuación en casos de abuso sexual infantil. También se evidenció que dentro del ámbito educativo en el Ecuador, es fundamental seguir las rutas establecidas por el Ministerio de Educación, las cuales deben ser ejecutadas por el Departamento de Consejería Estudiantil (DECE). Finalmente, dentro del ámbito judicial la principal intervención la realiza el perito que se basa en un formato de intervención establecido por la Fiscalía General del Estado Ecuatoriano.
